Verizon Prepaid Wireless Plan
Verizon Prepaid
Wireless plans offer solid nationwide coverage without the need for an
annual contract or credit checks. Verizon has the added benefit of more
local outlets and retail stores than any other wireless provider - which can be
a big plus if you want to add time to your account from a local outlet or with
other payment types.
Verizon Pay as you Go
plans are available for just $.10 a minute - as low as any of the nationwide
prepaid providers and an excellent value. They do however charge a $.99
daily access fee - something other vendors haven't done that does raise their
overall
costs higher than some of their competitors like
Cingular.
Verizon INPulse Prepaid Options:
Verizon's INPulse prepaid plans all run $0.10
per minute - with unlimited mobile to mobile calling within Verizons network.
Night minutes are unlimited but be watchful of Activation fee's and their $0.99
daily access fee.

Other Verizon Benefits:
Verizon offer's a best
in class guarantee policy. If you're not pleased with your phone and
prepaid INPulse plan just return it within 15 days for a full refund.
Cingular (which offers a best in class 30 day return policy) is the only other
prepaid wireless vendor we know of that offers a similar return guarantee.
Final Thoughts
and Recommendation:
Verizon's network is second in size only to
Cingular, and like all the major prepaid wireless providers the benefits of
going pay as you go are pretty obvious. Their network size and convenience
of retail outlets and return guarantee are great options, and per minute charges
are as low as anyone's. The daily fee they charge is the only element
holding Verizon back from earning our highest recommendation, but their plans
are still a good value and very well received by cell-phone-shopper visitors.
If recharging at a retail location or staying with Verizon is important to you -
